Oh hi! It’s been over a month since you last heard from me, and here’s why:
For my birthday, you might remember I offered A Gift from Me to You…to Future You: a giveaway for a free Strategic Workbook: More Joy, Less Stress.
The truth is...
…when I put out this offer, I hadn’t even created the Workbook! Risky, I know.
But I trusted myself to make it happen, and I knew putting the offer out there would give me the nudge I needed to hold my feet to the fire on a project I’d been dreaming up and putting off for far too long.
It took longer than I anticipated (I’m not Catholic, but here’s another confession: I FAILED to meet my own deadline!), but in allowing myself to not rush the process, the final product has evolved into something even bigger than I originally dreamed up, and one that I'm really proud of.
I'm excited to extend the offer to any of you who haven’t taken advantage of it yet (click here to request access). It’s broken into smaller, manageable sections that you can fit into your already busy life. Part one of the first chapter is available now (it’s the largest section of the Workbook since it lays the foundation for the rest of it). Part 2 will be released next Friday, and I’ll continue to release the Workbook periodically in sections for the remainder of the year. Next year, I plan to sell the 2.0 edition as the next phase of my business launch, and it will incorporate the feedback I receive from this year’s pilot participants.
This project ended up evolving into an extension of my mission with this Substack newsletter, and it’s the foundation for all of my coaching work. It even includes the assignments I give my clients; the only piece that’s missing is the one-on-one reflection process that happens in my coaching sessions.
As a bonus, I’m extending an invitation for Workbook participants to take a seat at a figurative table with others who are going through the same process. I decided to offer a free virtual Group Coaching Circle: Workbook Club because I believe wholeheartedly in the power of community in order to overcome our individual challenges and to heal our wounded world.
Do you find it more helpful to work through difficulties on your own or with other supportive, nonjudgemental people? There’s no right answer, but if the latter option sounds appealing, then I hope you’ll join us! If you raised your hand for the first option, then you would likely benefit more than anyone from pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and cultivating more interdependence in your life!
Here’s what’s different about this group coaching circle: I won’t be the “sage on the stage” leading the sessions. GASP! I’ll simply facilitate the conversations, similar to what you may have experienced in a Book Club. The only difference is that the “book” we’ll come together to discuss is a collection of our own beautiful, messy, work-in-progress Life Stories. YOU are the expert on your own life, and we each come with unique insights to offer each other. Together, we’ll build up each other’s confidence and our awareness that no matter what we’re each going through, we’re not alone.
So for now, if you’re interested in testing out the waters of my coaching practice, it’s not too late! You can click here to request access and read more about what to expect straight from the pages of the Workbook Intro:
“When we work towards creating the life that we want, we need to start by simply meeting ourselves where we are.” -Aditi Shah
In the first section, we start with a juggling inventory of your “life pie.” I also share some insights on guilt, my own inner critic, real vs. faux self-care, and custom-curated resources to continue learning and growing. I hope you’ll join me in this process!
